CSR



I. CSR POLICY

This CSR Policy encompasses AUTOLINX philosophy for social responsibilities and lays down the guidelines and mechanism for undertaking projects, programs and activities towards such responsibilities.

II. VISION STATEMENT AND OBJECTIVE

1. The CSR Policy sets out AUTOLINX commitment towards ensuring that our activities extend beyond business and include initiatives and endeavors for the benefit and development of the community and society. The CSR Policy lays down guidelines for undertaking programs geared towards social welfare activities or initiatives. Through this CSR Policy, we propose to adopt the CSR Activities mentioned below.
2. In alignment with the above vision, AUTOLINX, through the CSR Activities, will endeavor to enhance value creation in the society and in the community, through its services, conduct and initiatives, so as to promote sustained growth for the society and community, in fulfilment of its role as a socially responsible corporate.
3. This CSR Policy has been framed in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act 2013 and the rules issued thereunder.
4. The objective of this CSR Policy is to:
(i) Outline projects, programs and activities to be undertaken by AUTOLINX;
(ii) Specify the modalities of execution of such projects, programs and activities;
(iii) Monitor the process to be followed for such projects, programs and activities;
(iv) Directly or indirectly take up programs that benefit the communities in and around its work centers and results, over a period of time, in enhancing the quality of life and economic well-being of the local populace; and
(v) Generate community goodwill for AUTOLINX and help reinforce a positive and socially responsible image, through our CSR Activities.





CSR Members

The CSR Cell has been constituted to assist the CSR Committee with the implementation and impact assessment of the CSR initiatives. The CSR Cell comprises of the following:

Role of the CSR Cell

The CSR Cell shall be responsible for:
(i) Identifying CSR Activities at the directions of the Board and the CSR Committee;
(ii) Undertaking impact assessment of the CSR Activities;
(iii) Determining the modalities of execution including targets and timelines in consultation with the CSR Committee;
(iv) Timely implementation of the CSR Activities approved by the Board in compliance with the Applicable provisions of the Act and CSR Rules;
(v) Providing periodic reports to the CSR Committee on implementation as well as assessment carried out through field visits and feedback sessions; and
(vi) Any other assistance as may be required by the Board and the CSR Committee in relation to Implementation of the CSR Activities.

"APL Logistics VASCOR Automotive is a Delhi-based third-party logistics specialist serving the automotive sector in India. Incorporated in 2012, the company is a joint venture of two of the most respected brands in international supply chain management and automotive logistics: APL Logistics and VASCOR. In 2011, the company began studying the automotive logistics market in India. Intensive discussions with OEMs, key stakeholders, the Indian Railway and transporters, helped him up essentials of a rail-based mode of transportation. Combining our expertise and experience of finished vehicle logistics in India and the US, the service offering was tailored to not only meet, but surpass the industry's expectations. Research led us into the realm of designing rail cars and rail car interiors, and ultimately included the design of a car loading ramp suitable for Indian conditions. VASCOR

VASCOR is leading provider of logistics services to the automotive sector. Formed in 1987, the company is a joint venture of Singapore-based supply chain management leader APL Logistics and FUJITRANS Corporation of Japan. Based in Georgetown, Kentucky, USA, VASCOR provides a full spectrum of logistics services to major automotive manufacturers and sales entities, as well as all U.S. Class One Railroads

Thad Bedard is the President for APL Logistics. Mr. Thad Bedard is responsible for the commercial, financial and operational activities of APL Logistics globally.

Prior to his role as President, he served as SVP, CCO, VP of Strategy & Marketing, Director of Strategic Accounts, Commercial Head SCS Group, and North America Retail Head.

Umesh was appointed Chief Operating Officer upon the company's incorporation in 2012. Mr. Bhanot began his career in the Indian Railway Traffic Service. He worked with CONCOR (Container Corporation of India) for five years before joining Adani Logistics in 2005. He has extensive experience in the field of CBU transportation, terminals and container transportation.

Mr. Bhanot also holds an MBA from the faculty of management studies Delhi University and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.

Ashish joined the company as the Manager of Business Development in 2013. Prior to APL Logistics VASCOR, Ashish worked for Adani Logistics for almost 7 years as the Manager of Automotive Logistics and Domestic Cargo. He has hands on experience of containerized rail transportation of finished vehicles, steel coils and other commodities. Ashish holds an MBA in International Business and Marketing from Amity University and a BE in Electronics Engineering from Shivaji University.

Kunal joined the company as the Manager Operations in 2018. Prior to APL Logistics Vascor, Kunal has worked in different reputed organisations like Adani, TATA DIESL, Intex Technologies & holds experience of 15+ years in Logistics field. He has hands on experience of containerized domestic cargo movement thru rail, steel coils movements and 3PL warehousing operations. Kunal holds an PGDBM in International Business from Fortune Institute of International Business, New Delhi. .

Malay joined the company as manager IT & System development in May 2014. Prior to APL Logistics Vascor, Mr Nandy began his career with Hindustan Paper Corporation (PSU), TCI, Adani & Jain Infra Projects & holds experience of 20+ years in IT domain of Logistics field.

Malay holds an MCA degree from Jorhat Engineering College.

Mr. Tarak Nath Haldar joined the company as Manager Finance & Legal Activities in 10 Jan 2016. Prior to APL Logistics VASCOR, Mr. Tarak Nath Haldar began his career in 03 Mar 1988 with M/s Samrat Shipping Company Private Limited as agent of M/s Neptune Orient Lines Ltd, formally known as “NOL” a Singapore based Liner company. Subsequently worked as a managerial position in NOL India, APL India, Trident Terminal, APL/APLL Egypt LLC, APL IndiaLinx, APL India / APL Logistics South /East India & holds experience of 33+ years in Finance domain of Logistics field.
